November 12th/13th River Calder at Altofts
Headquarters will be The Miners Arms, 167 Church road, Normanton WF6 2QR
Day one and day two draw will commence around 8am and will run to 8-30am with a fishing time of 10-30am to 3-30pm
The 54 peg final will be held on the Calder at Altofts, the draw on day one will be open for all 54 pegs putting 27 anglers into zone “A” and 27 anglers into zone “B”
Those anglers drawn in zone “A” on day one will draw from pot “B” on day two and anglers drawn in zone “B” on day one will draw from pot “A” on day two. The match results will be decided on accumulative weight over the two days. sections will be made up of 3@ five pegs and 2@ 6 pegs giving 27 anglers to each zone. A decision will be made prior to the final on order of these mini sections when pegging is confirmed.
Practice Matches
Two are planned at the moment Wednesday 2nd November and Saturday 5th November with the draw to be held at the Miners Arms at 8-30am, contact Martyn Highe on 07967 227218 to book on or alternatively message us via email or messenger and we’ll do the rest. More details will be announced on our Facebook page closer to the final.
Day tickets are available from the Mirfield website for any individuals wanting to practice on the match length, although it says on the website no day tickets issued we have been assured by the club officials that finalists are able to fish the lower Calder valley with the exception of the Mexborough estate water as this is closed other than mach days. LAST PRACTICE DAY WILL BE WEDNESDAY 9th November as the venue will close Thursday and Friday ready for the final.

20 sections of £135 (10 for each day) paid out by default meaning you will only collect section money if you are not in the main framing places.
