The Grand Final: River Don at Sprotborough 2nd and 3rd of March 2024

Day one and day two draw will commence around 8am and will run to 8-30am with fishing time of 11-00am to 4-00pm

The 56 peg final will be held on the river Don at Sprotborough and the Viaduct (Cadeby) the draw on day one will be an open draw and this will determine the section you will be in with 28 anglers in zone A and 28 anglers in zone B.

Those anglers drawn in zone A on day one will be draw from pot B on day two (putting them in zone B) and anglers in zone B on day one will draw from pot A on day two (putting them in zone A). The match results will be decided on total accumulative weight over the two days. Sections will be made up of 3@ 6pegs and 2@ 5pegs giving 28 anglers to each zone.

Should the final be postponed due to flooding etc. a reserve date has been set aside for the following weekend 18th/19th November 2023, should that be deemed unfishable then another suitable date will be fixed when conditions allow.

Open matches take place every Sunday leading up to the final and can be booked by contacting Glyn Brown on 07780 516951 Two opens are taking place on the two Wednesdays leading upto the final (November 1st and 8th)
