River Ure – Boroughbridge

36 PEGS

Qualifier Date: 12/10/2024

The stretch to be used for this brand new qualifier is the Ure at Boroughbridge, the venue ranges from 8ft to 17ft with a nice steady even flow. At the time of this qualifier this venue is perfect for long rod and bolo (or slider) with caster, hemp, tares and maggot all working and providing the conditions are normal then these tactics work best for the shoals of Roach that inhabit this river in the Autumn, Perch, Chub and Barbel can also be targeted with other baits on the feeder if you fancy a gamble and these can be large specimens! Should the river be in flood or have extra water in then there are Bream to be had to the usual ground bait tactics.
