This lower section of the Tees around Bowesfield is regarded as the “go-to” fishery of the area, with varying depths from eight to twenty-five feet, the venue has something to offer every angler, whether feeder or float fishing, pole, whip or Bolo! Match weights in the warmer months are dominated by pole and feeder caught skimmers and bream. As the frost bites, the river turns into a dace and roach haven, plus the added excitement of large bags of perch.
